Almost Wordless Work in Progress Wednesday

This is the kind of week it’s been. Sigh.

  1. Oh no! That’s so sad! Hope your week gets better!

  2. Ohhh, I’m so sorry. Some weeks just go like that. I hope tomorrow turns the corner to a better week!

  3. Oops! Hope it gets better!

    • I managed to get my project complete, so I guess it all came out okay πŸ˜€ (Grey zip, though, rather than gold. But it works, so that’s what matters.)

  4. 😦 Oh no… Ask someone to pat your head. This always makes things better. And I am singing Soft Kitty to you form my side of the computer, if that helps?
    E xx

  5. Aaaaaargh!! I’m so sorry it’s been that kind of a week (and sorry that I laughed out loud at your pic!!!) hugs to make you feel better!

  6. Oh no!! I’ve only sewn with a zip once, but I can just imagine this happening to me.

  7. Well some days are just like that. Maybe a mini coin purse with what is left. ??

  8. I have managed to fix a problem like that with clear nail polish and a stitch ripper, but it takes patience. How much work you want to put into it depends on how far you are from the store. I feel your pain!

    • Sounds like a lot of work to fix! Zippers are cheap enough, I’d rather just chuck it and start over. (Though there’s a little part of me that wants to make it into something to hang on my wall as a reminder of why all the patterns are so strident about reminding you to open your zipper before sewing :D)

  9. Doh! Hope your week gets better!

  10. Oh no! I’m sorry. If it makes you feel any better I had to look at that picture for a few minutes before I figured out what was wrong with it. Guess it’s good I haven’t done any sewing this week. Sending a hug your way.

  11. Well that’s not good.

  12. Aw, man! πŸ˜€

(You made me LOL on my lunch break.)

    • Haha… always happy to entertain πŸ˜€ (Shame about the zipper though! I had to use a dark grey one instead, which was okay, but didn’t exactly blend… I did contemplate making a flap to hide it, but then I thought probably I should avoid anything that required extra thought on how to construct it, just in case.)

  13. Oh, Crap! Sorry to hear you had that kind of week. Only one day left to get through now! Hope your weekend will be relaxing and productive! Turn that horseshoe around the other way!

  14. wish I were working on—Oh, I can so relate to that. Blessings for a better tomorrow.

    • Thanks πŸ™‚ I spent most of today sleeping (or reading about quilting), so that was kind of relaxing and nice. But I did finish my project (with a new zipper, naturally) so that was good too!

  15. Been there, done that, threw away all incriminating evidence. Wishing you a better week!
